East Coast Diesel Service was established in late 2005 to service the Bowen Basin mining industry as well as the wider Whitsunday community. Over the past 17 years we have grown from a single contractor to a team of over 80 skilled tradespeople. This growth has been due to the 'can do' attitude of management and staff with the vision that no maintenance task is beyond our capabilities.

We strongly believe that a business is only as good as its staff. With this in mind, we have in place a training and skilling program which encourages staff to further themselves by means of experience and training. Staff welcome these opportunities as they feel their future is secure. We pride ourselves on a low staff turnover, which in turn ensures our clients consistent support.

We are continually looking for quality personnel who have the same values as our team. We offer employment on a casual, fixed term, full time or independent contract basis. Whether you are a worker on wages or a contractor working for your own company, we value and treat everyone the same. LABOUR SEARCH APPLICATION

Being a member of the Labour Search group means that East Coast Diesel Service have unrestricted use of the Labour Search scheduling and planning application. Using this tool allows our personnel to set their own rosters and holidays at the touch of their fingers via their mobile phone. Our workers can manage all of their certificates, inductions, timesheets and work roster requirements all in one place that is available on thier phone

Using the Labour Search tool gives our Independent Contractors access to extra work that could be available outside of their normal work roster. By marking themseleves as "available" for those shifts our customers can view that availability and send them a work request.
